Quotes and prices

Online prices are based on the details you provide (bedrooms, bathrooms, size, basement, add-ons). If the home differs significantly — for example, much larger, heavily soiled or cluttered — our crew lead will contact you before starting to agree on an adjusted price or scope. Prices are in Canadian dollars before applicable taxes (HST in Ontario; GST and QST in Quebec).

Homes of 3,500 sq ft and more, post-construction cleaning and mould work are priced by custom quote.

Payment

No card is needed to book and nothing is paid in advance. You pay after your clean is complete, on-site, by e-Transfer, debit/credit card or cash. Recurring discounts apply from the second visit of a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly plan.

Access, safety and pets

• Please provide working entry instructions (you at home, lockbox, key or concierge) and parking information.
• If we cannot access the home at the booked time, a $50 lock-out fee applies.
• Please secure pets that may be anxious around strangers or equipment.
• Our crews do not move very heavy furniture, work above 2 m without proper equipment, clean biohazards, or handle visible mould beyond a mould assessment.

Breakage and damage

BlueGuard is insured. Report any damage within 48 hours with photos. We will repair, replace or reimburse at fair market value. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, items that were improperly installed, or normal wear revealed by cleaning.

Cancellations and changes

See our cancellation policy. In short: free with 24 hours’ notice, otherwise a $45 fee.

Satisfaction guarantee

Tell us within 24 hours of your clean if anything was missed and we will re-clean those items free of charge. See the satisfaction guarantee for details.

Hiring our cleaners

To protect our team, please do not hire a BlueGuard cleaner privately during their employment and for 6 months afterward.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the province where the service is performed and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law.
