What a deep clean adds

A deep clean includes everything in a standard clean, then goes further. Baseboards are hand-wiped along their full length, not just dusted from above. Door frames, doors and door handles are washed. Light switches, outlet covers and other high-touch points are cleaned and sanitized. Vent covers and return grilles are wiped down, which matters more than most people think, because dust on a grille is pulled straight back into the air your furnace circulates.

In the kitchen we clean inside the oven and inside the fridge, and we empty, wipe and reload the inside of cabinets and drawers. Walls get spot cleaned to remove scuffs, fingerprints and splashes, especially around light switches, stairways and kids’ rooms. Bathrooms get extra time on soap scum, hard-water marks and grout lines.

When to book a deep clean

Most homes benefit from a deep clean once or twice a year, and at specific moments:

As a first visit before recurring cleaning. If your home has not been professionally cleaned in a while, a deep clean clears the backlog so every regular visit after it can maintain the result. We recommend it, but it is never forced.

Deep clean versus standard clean

A standard clean maintains surfaces you see and touch every day. A deep clean adds the inside of appliances and cabinets, the full length of baseboards, frames, switches, vent covers and wall marks. On a typical home it takes noticeably longer, which is why it is priced as a standard clean plus $99. If you are moving out or into an empty home, a move-in or move-out clean is the better fit, because it is built for empty rooms and adds walls, vents and cabinets as standard.

Pricing

You see your price instantly online, based on bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage. A deep clean starts from $263 before tax for a studio with one bathroom, a one-bedroom, one-bathroom home under 1,000 sq ft is $273, and the price grows predictably with the size of the home. Add-ons such as interior windows, blinds or wall washing can be added with fixed prices. Homes of 3,500 sq ft or more get a custom quote.
