About this service
Dogs and cats make a house a home, but they also leave a lot behind. Fur collects on stairs and in corners, weaves itself into sofa fabric and carpet, clings to baseboards and gets pulled into vents. Odours from beds, litter areas and accidents settle into fabrics and floors, and you stop noticing them long before guests do. Twice a year, during shedding season, it can feel like a losing battle.
Two options for pet homes
Pets in home add-on ($25): extra time during a regular, deep or move clean to deal with normal pet hair on floors, furniture surfaces and stairs. Ideal for recurring visits in homes with one or two well-groomed pets.
Pet hair and odour removal upgrade ($59): a focused treatment for heavier shedding and noticeable odours, described below. Ideal for multi-pet homes, shedding season, moving into a home where the previous owners had pets, or getting ready for guests or a sale.
What the $59 upgrade includes
Upholstery: sofas, chairs and cushions de-furred with rubber tools and upholstery vacuums that pull embedded hair out of the weave.
Carpets and rugs: slow, multi-direction vacuuming to lift fur from the base of the pile.
Stairs, corners and edges: hair removed from carpeted stair edges, baseboards, under furniture where reachable and behind doors.
Pet areas: beds, crate areas, feeding stations and litter box surroundings cleaned and deodorized on hard surfaces.
Odour treatment: odour-neutralizing products applied to the areas pets use most, targeting the source rather than masking it with fragrance.
Vent covers: wiped free of hair and dander.
What it cannot fix
Odours that have soaked into carpet padding, subfloors or drywall, for example from repeated accidents, may need carpet cleaning, replacement or repairs. We will tell you honestly what to expect. Our carpet and upholstery cleaning services can be booked together with this upgrade for deeper results.
Shedding season in Canada
Many dogs and cats blow their coats in spring as the days lengthen and again in fall before winter. Booking the upgrade in April or May and again in October keeps the fur under control when it is at its worst.
Pets, dander and indoor air
Pet dander is light and stays airborne, which is why it ends up inside heating and cooling ducts and blows back out into every room. For allergy sufferers in pet homes, BlueGuard air duct cleaning removes the dander built up in the system. BlueGuard has been NADCA-certified for duct cleaning since 2020.

What is the difference between the $25 pets add-on and the $59 upgrade?
The $25 add-on gives extra time for normal pet hair during your clean. The $59 upgrade adds focused fur removal from upholstery, carpets and stairs plus odour treatment of pet areas, for heavy shedding or noticeable odours.
Can you remove urine odours?
We treat odours on surfaces and fabrics where pets spend time. Urine that soaked into carpet padding or subfloors may need carpet cleaning, replacement or repairs to remove completely.
Should my pets be home during the clean?
They can be, but please keep them in a closed room, crate or yard. Our crews will not handle pets or let them outside.
When is the best time to book pet hair removal?

Does pet dander get into the air ducts?
