About this service
By the end of a Canadian winter, the outside of a house looks tired. The driveway is streaked with salt and sand, the deck has gone grey and slippery, and the siding on the shady side has a green film. Pressure washing strips all of that away in an afternoon and makes the whole property look cared for again.
Surfaces we clean
Driveways and walkways: concrete, interlocking pavers and walkways cleaned of salt residue, sand, tire marks, dirt and moss between pavers.
Decks: wood and composite decks cleaned of grey weathering, algae, pollen and grime, which also makes them less slippery.
Siding: vinyl, aluminum and other durable sidings cleaned of dirt, cobwebs, mildew and green algae, especially on north-facing walls.
Patios, steps and porches can be added when you book.
The right pressure for each surface
More pressure is not always better. Too much can etch concrete, splinter wood, force water behind siding or loosen joint sand between pavers. Our crews adjust the pressure, nozzle and technique to each surface and use soft-washing methods on siding, where low pressure and the right cleaner do the work.
Pricing
Pressure washing is $199 for a driveway, $229 for a deck and from $349 for siding, before tax. Very large surfaces, heavy staining or multi-storey siding are quoted from photos. Bundle several surfaces or add patio and deck cleaning, gutter cleaning or window cleaning in the same visit.
When to book
Spring, once the salt season is over and temperatures stay above freezing, is the most popular time: wash away the salt and sand before they stain the concrete further. Early summer is ideal for decks before barbecue season. Early fall prepares siding and decks before winter. We do not pressure wash in freezing temperatures.

What to know

Will pressure washing damage my deck or siding?
Not when done correctly. We adjust pressure and technique to each surface and use low-pressure soft washing on siding to avoid damage or forcing water behind panels.
Can pressure washing remove salt stains from my driveway?
Yes, salt residue and sand usually wash away well. Older stains like oil or rust may lighten but not fully disappear.
Do I need to provide water?
Yes, we connect to an outdoor tap. Please make sure it is turned on and working; in spring, outdoor taps are often still shut off from winter.
Should I pressure wash before staining my deck?
Yes. Washing removes dirt, grey weathering and algae so new stain or sealer can bond properly. Let the wood dry fully before staining.
