About this service
Moving day has enough moving parts without worrying about whether the oven passes inspection. Whether you are handing back the keys, getting a rental ready for new tenants, preparing a sold home for its buyers or moving into a place someone else just left, a move clean takes one of the most stressful jobs off your list.
A move-in or move-out clean is designed for empty homes. With no furniture in the way, our crews can reach every cabinet, every corner and every baseboard, and leave the home ready for a landlord’s inspection, a buyer’s walkthrough or your own boxes.
What is included
Kitchen: inside and outside of every cabinet and drawer, inside the oven, inside the fridge and freezer, stovetop degreased, range hood exterior, sink, counters and backsplash, dishwasher exterior and floors.
Bathrooms: toilets, tubs, showers, tiles, vanities, inside bathroom cabinets and drawers, mirrors, fixtures and floors.
Every room: baseboards along their full length, door frames, doors and handles, light switches and outlet covers, window sills and tracks inside, wall spot cleaning for scuffs and marks, vent covers wiped, closets inside, and floors vacuumed and mopped.
Supplies and equipment are included.
Who uses move cleaning
Tenants who want their deposit back and a clean hand-over. Landlords and property managers turning over units between tenants. Realtors and sellers preparing a property for the new owners. Buyers and new tenants who want to start fresh in a home that is truly theirs.
Pricing
A move clean is your standard clean price plus $179, calculated instantly from bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage. A studio starts from $343 before tax and a one-bedroom, one-bathroom home under 1,000 sq ft is $353. Homes of 3,500 sq ft or more get a custom quote. Optional extras include wall washing ($59 per room), blinds ($8 per blind, $40 minimum) and interior windows from $39.
Timing tips
Book early around month-end, and especially around July 1 in Quebec, when moving demand peaks. Make sure water and electricity are still on. If you need it fast, same-day or next-day service is available with a $40 rush fee when crews are free. Leave lockbox or concierge details in your booking to avoid the $50 lock-out fee.
Start with clean air too
An empty home is the best time to clean the ducts, before furniture and family move in. BlueGuard has been NADCA-certified for duct cleaning since 2020, and a move clean booked together with duct cleaning gets 10% off both.
Our guarantee
You pay only after the clean. If something on the checklist was missed, report it within 24 hours and we will come back and fix it free of charge.

OshawaThey were very nice, worked fast, and were communicative throughout the process. I had them come clean the air ducts, the ventilation fans and sanitize the furnace in preparation for winter, they did a good job and all together I found their prices to be very reasonable.
