Pre-sale cleaning makes sure your house is remembered for its space and light, not its grime.
What a pre-sale clean includes
A pre-sale clean is a complete deep clean, plus detail work focused on what photographs and shows well.
Deep clean essentials: baseboards along their full length, door frames and doors, light switches and outlet covers, vent covers, wall spot cleaning, inside the oven, fridge and cabinets, kitchens and bathrooms scrubbed and floors vacuumed and mopped.
Photo-ready details: interior glass, mirrors and glass doors polished streak-free, chrome and fixtures shined, light fixtures within reach dusted so rooms look brighter, entryways cleared of salt and grit, and floors given a final pass so they look even in photos.
Staging support: we work around staging furniture and decor, and we can schedule the clean after the stager has finished to remove dust from setup.
Timing with your realtor
The ideal time is one or two days before listing photos. Many sellers in Ottawa and Durham also book a quick standard clean before open houses or after a long run of showings. If the home is already empty, a move-out clean may be a better fit.
Pricing
Pre-sale cleaning is priced as a standard clean plus $148 (a deep clean plus staging detail), calculated instantly from your bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage. A studio starts from $312 before tax. Homes of 3,500 sq ft or more get a custom quote. Useful add-ons include interior windows and tracks from $39, blinds at $8 per blind ($40 minimum) and wall washing at $59 per room.
Exterior and specialized extras
Curb appeal counts too. Pressure washing the driveway ($199) or deck ($229), window cleaning inside and out ($249 for a bungalow, $349 for two storeys) and carpet cleaning ($45 per room, $149 minimum) can all be booked with your pre-sale clean so the home is ready inside and out.
For realtors
Realtors can book on behalf of clients, and we coordinate access through lockboxes and listing schedules. Your client pays only after the clean is complete, and if anything is missed, we fix it within 24 hours of being notified at no charge.

When should I book a pre-sale clean?

How is a pre-sale clean different from a deep clean?
